Virtual Assistant and Mom Blogger

Just fyi, I have this blog solely to allow me to post comments on some of my fave blogger blogs who (sadly in my opinion) don't allow comments to be identified via name/url and require me to be signed in to blogger instead!

This is basically a placeholder blog and my "real" blogs are:

Mobile Mommy - a mommy blog about being a wahm of 3 boys, running a growing virtual legal assistant business.

Halo Secretarial Blog - a blog that I operate in conjunction with my virtual legal assistant business which features information about my business specifically, law related topics, virtual assistant topics and general small business stuff. It's much less personal than Mobile Mommy!

So if you are checking out *this* blog because I left a comment on your post - please do drop by one or both of my real blogs - which hopefully I've updated in the not too distant past!

Hi, I'm Laurie and I am the owner of Halo Secretarial Services. Halo Secretarial provides administrative and secretarial services to a wide variety of clientele, including busy professionals and small businesses struggling to manage their tedious to-do lists. I have an extensive background in legal administrative work so I am particularly able to provide paralegal/legal assistant services to solo law practitioners and small lawfirms.

I received my honors diploma in paralegal studies in 1993, began my legal assistant career working for a sole practitioner for a few years, then worked in a large lawfirm and finally for a governmental legal department. I’ve worked in several areas of law including family, civil litigation, real estate, corporate and tax law. While on maternity leave after the birth of my third child, I began the process of opening my virtual paralegal/assistance practice, Halo Secretarial Services, up for business.

Halo Secretarial operates on a “virtual” basis, meaning that all services are provided from our office to yours, regardless of where you are located, through various means including email, fax, online collaboration tools or remote access to your desktop.
