I received my honors diploma in paralegal studies in 1993, began my legal assistant career working for a sole practitioner for a few years, then worked in a large lawfirm and finally for a governmental legal department. I’ve worked in several areas of law including family, civil litigation, real estate, corporate and tax law. While on maternity leave after the birth of my third child, I began the process of opening my virtual paralegal/assistance practice, Halo Secretarial Services, up for business.
Halo Secretarial operates on a “virtual” basis, meaning that all services are provided from our office to yours, regardless of where you are located, through various means including email, fax, online collaboration tools or remote access to your desktop.

On a personal note, I’m a working mama to my 3 wonderful boys, and I share my life with an amazing and and supportive husband. Outside of work and family I have many interests, including being secretary of both my local and national VBAC-ICAN association (see here for Edmonton VBAC).
